HOW WE SOURCE the FOOD SERVED in our organic cafés at Daylesford
Our menu is based on produce from our fully certified organic farms in the Cotswolds and Staffordshire.
Eating well is sharing seasonal, local, organic food that nourishes our bodies. We believe that producing food organically, following the year’s natural rhythms, is not only best for the future of our planet, it is better for our wellbeing too.

All the food served in our cafés is freshly made by hand by the chefs in our kitchens.
Our daily-changing specials board features the very best from our organic Market Garden that day, grown in nutrient-rich soil on our organic Cotswolds farm, without chemicals and pesticides.
Our produce is only picked when it’s perfectly ripe and goes straight to our chefs in the kitchen, so it’s incredibly fresh and full of flavour.

Our cafés receive daily deliveries of fresh organic produce directly from our farms in Gloucestershire and Staffordshire, which are certified organic by the Soil Association: the highest possible assurance of animal welfare and environmentally sustainable farming practices.
We mindfully and sustainably raise grass pastured rare and native breeds, our pedigree dairy herd, truly free range chickens and eggs on our lush organic farmland.
In our Market Garden we grow seasonal organic fruit, vegetables, salad leaves and herbs. Our award-winning artisan breads, charcuterie, ferments and cheeses are handmade by our in-house artisans at Daylesford farm in the Cotswolds.

Sourcing responsibly is an integral part of what we do.
When we cannot produce something ourselves – for example, we are unable to grow asparagus as we don’t have the right soil for it – we take care to source from certified organic farms who share our core values, wherever possible.
Wild ingredients that cannot be classed as organic, such as game, fish and seafood, are always sourced considerately and sustainably.
Non-organic items on our menus are always clearly marked with a * symbol.
At Daylesford, we have pioneered organic, regenerative farming and sustainable living for nearly 20 years because it is better for the planet and our wellbeing. We aim for zero waste and reduce, reuse, recycle and compost everything we can.
We were delighted to be awarded a coveted Green Star by the Michelin Guide in recognition of our sustainable practices, and the Sustainable Restaurant Association award for the Most Sustainable Restaurant in the UK.
