British Flowers Week is an annual celebration of British flowers and the independent growers and florists who work with them.

As the organisers say, “just like with food, people are increasingly demanding more locally grown flowers to celebrate the seasons and support British growers. Often scented, British flowers have a natural charm, beauty and just-picked freshness that make them the florist’s favourite.”

Throughout 18-24th June 2018, we have special courses, events and activities at Daylesford to champion homegrown blooms. The talented Floristry team at our Cotswolds farm are so looking forward to sharing our passion for local, seasonal and organic blooms.

Being the height of summer, there are so many exquisite flowers at their best now, such as roses, cornflowers, sweetpeas, dahlias and peonies. Scroll down for a glimpse of what we are planning during British Flower Week, and click here for an interview with our founder Carole Bamford about her inspiration to create a Cutting Garden at Daylesford.

This initiative supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
