Stuck for ideas for Father’s Day on Sunday 15th June? Here are our top five Daylesford treats for dads.

A TRIP TO THE COOKERY SCHOOL
A Daylesford Cookery School voucher is perfect for culinary enthusiasts and kitchen amateurs alike. There are courses for every level and taste, from The Perfect Summer BBQ to Bread Making and Nose-to-Tail Butchery. Why not whet his appetite with a copy of our cookbook A Love For Food?

SUNDAY LUNCH AT DAYLESFORD
Surprise your dad on Father’s Day with lunch for two at one of our cafes. Fresh from our organic pastures, on the menu right now includes Chicken, Lemon & Thyme Croquettes, Grilled Steak Sandwiches and a decadent Salted Treacle & Ginger Tart. Walk it off afterwards with a gentle afternoon stroll through our farmlands (or along the Thames if you’re in London).

AN AWARD-WINNING CHEESE BOARD
A selection of our award-winning organic cheeses will always go down a treat. Assemble a range of flavours: our mellow & delicate Double Gloucester, a fresh and tangy goat’s cheese, a crumbly Daylesford Blue, a full-bodied, creamy Baywell and something stronger – our Daylesford Cheddar, perhaps. Serve with organic oatmeal & manuka biscuits, a dollop of butternut chutney and top it all off with a great bottle of red.

GET HIM STARTED IN BEEKEEPING
You won’t get a more unique, exciting Father’s Day present than a place at one of our beekeeping courses on Friday 27th June or Saturday 28th June. Hosted in our Market Garden apiary, local apiarist Tanya Hawkes will guide him through the theory, equipment and bee handling skills necessary to manage his own colony of bees.

BREAKFAST IN BED
Breakfast in bed can be just as thoughtful as a meal out – with the right recipe! Pop round to one of our farmshops in Gloucestershire or London and pick up the ingredients for our simple sausage sandwich – best served with lashings of our homemade organic brown sauce and a pot of English Breakfast tea.
