We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new organic macaroni cheese, part of our Daylesford Signatures range. Combining light and creamy mature cheddar with crème fraîche and wholegrain macaroni, each batch is lovingly made by hand.
Using inspiration from home cooked comforts, our organic macaroni cheese is the perfect choice for a family night in or a quick fix meal, and with the addition of nutmeg and a crispy ciabatta crumb topping, this flavourful dish is sure to be a kitchen favourite.
As part of our packaging progress and improvements for 2019, our organic macaroni cheese is packaged in the most environmentally conscious way possible. The outer cardboard layer is printed using vegetable-based inks and is fully recyclable, and the wooden tray is sustainably grown, fully biodegradable and compostable. Currently, the film is not recyclable however we are always on the lookout for more sustainable packaging and will replace this with a recyclable, reusable or compostable alternative as soon as it becomes available.
For the best cooking results, oven bake our macaroni cheese at 190C for 45 minutes. Then, enjoy it with chunks of our delicious crusty sourdough and a generous serving of our Les Forts de Léoube wine.
Or, for those of you who are dairy free, you can still enjoy our delicious organic macaroni with our organic plant based sauces – try our cauliflower mornay for a creamy plant based alternative to cheese. Made using mushrooms and cauliflower for thickness and nutritional yeast which has a natural ‘cheesy’ taste to it, you don’t have to miss out on the delight of macaroni cheese.
