The StreetSmart 2018 Campaign at Daylesford

We wanted to take a moment to thank you, our customers, for your generosity and kindness over the festive season with the StreetSmart campaign we ran at all Daylesford restaurants in London and the Cotswolds throughout November and December 2018.
With your fantastic support, we managed to raise £13,300 for StreetSmart and our chosen charity The Felix Project, to be used to fight food waste and help homeless people in each farmshop’s local area.
What’s more, Daylesford founder Carole Bamford agreed to match the funds raised which brings the grand total to £26,600 – a significant amount which will have a real and lasting impact on the lives of many people in need.
Daylesford was one of the first companies to partner with The Felix Project when the charity was founded in 2016. Daylesford was built on a love for simple, good food and The Felix Project is all about sharing good food that would otherwise go to waste: so it was a natural match and one that makes the whole team very proud.
Not everyone has access to a regular supply of nutritious food and the toll this takes on their health and sense of wellbeing is devastating. That’s where The Felix Project steps in. By collecting surplus fresh, nutritious food and redistributing it to those in need, they are helping people, every day. The fact this is made possible by volunteers who give up their time to help make the world a better place is awe-inspiring and humbling.
