Relax in the comfort of their beautiful rooms; enjoy award-winning, seasonal food from Michelin Starred Executive Chef Tim Allen and raise a glass or two by the fire in their welcoming bar. This year, The Wild Rabbit are offering a special three-day Christmas package, as well as an indulgent four or five-day offer for those looking for a longer break.


The celebrations begin on Christmas Eve, when they will invite guests to gather around their double-sided fireplace to enjoy afternoon tea, mince pies and hot toddies. In the evening, the bar will come to life with live music and complementary pre-dinner cocktails Рall before the dining room opens for an indulgent five-course Tasting Menu.*


On Christmas Day, those staying at The Wild Rabbit will receive their own stocking from Father Christmas, before heading down to the dining room for a Champagne breakfast to start the day.

The Wild Rabbit dining room is the perfect setting for a Christmas Day feast. Using locally sourced and home-grown produce, Executive Chef Tim Allen will be welcoming guests for an extravagant yet traditional, five-course Christmas lunch.**

In the afternoon there will be a treasure hunt in the village, with prizes to be won for the best team, before the team tempt you back to the bar for hot toddies, mulled wine and mince pies; all that is needed on a crisp Christmas afternoon.

In the evening, expect a seasonal table of cold cuts, pork pies, terrines and much more, followed by board games by the fire and a festive quiz for those with a competitive spirit. The prize? A complementary treatment at the Bamford Haybarn Spa.


Boxing Day brunch is a favourite with residents and locals alike and we recommend that you book early.***

A traditional family Christmas always includes a pantomime and this year The Little Theatre at Chipping Norton is putting on a Boxing Day production of Robinson Crusoe. The pantomime starts at 4pm and tickets cost £25 per person. Please let us know if you would like tickets Рearly booking is essential.

On Boxing Day evening, visit the dining room again for a selection of lamb hot pot, glazed duck, sirloin of beef and Tim Allen’s famous chocolate Yule log, with entertainment provided by a fantastic table magician.
