We are delighted to welcome gardening expert VAL BOURNE to our Kingham Farmshop to host monthly workshops full of plant advice, practical tips and personal recommendations in collaboration with THE GENEROUS GARDENER.

Each month, Val’s workshops will focus on the best choices to enhance your garden at that time of year. This October workshop will explore the best late-season grasses and their perennial partners, the ones that add so much to this jewel-box month. You will learn how to extend your borders, using southern-hemisphere plants and annuals, and how to choose the best tulips so you get four weeks of stunning colour. Val will share plenty of funny anecdotes along the way and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

Val Bourne is a plant fanatic and award-winning author and journalist who writes regularly for Country Life, The Daily and Sunday Telegraph, RHS The Garden, Hartley Botanic and Saga. Val also judges plant trials for the RHS. She has gardened for decades and loves getting her hands dirty.
