It’s that wonderful time of year when the roses have just started to die down, but the dahlias are in their prime; there is foliage to be found and there are elements that have been dried by the summer sun; the spindle berries are deepest pink, and the Old Man’s Beard is fluffy and white. Join us for a morning of flower arranging in our workshop as Claire from HONEYSUCKLE AND HILDA talks your through what can be found during this bountiful time of year.

Echoing autumn in all its generosity, we will work with the most beautiful colours, textures and shapes – there will be blousy blooms, tall flowers, dried grasses, delicate tendrils and crispy pieces.

As we take a tour of our organic Cutting Garden, guests will have the opportunity to add a few extra clippings to their displays. We will then return to spend the rest of the morning making beautiful arrangements with hand-thrown bowls which will be yours to take home after the class. Claire will guide you through her process of creating bountiful, asymmetric shapes.

This class is suitable for all levels. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for our visit to our organic Cutting Garden.
