Beginners’ embroidery: how to monogram linen napkins with Marigold the Maker: Notting Hill
14th August 2019
Master the art of monogramming in this two hour beginners’ embroidery workshop. Hosted by Marigold the Maker at our Notting Hill farmshop, guests will learn how to embroider beautiful calligraphy on a set of pure linen napkins.
Starting with the basics of embroidery and stitching, this immersive class will cover how to transfer modern calligraphy to fabric before giving you the chance to practice on your own napkins, creating a bespoke touch. You’ll also be given a monogramming kit to take away, allowing you to continue creating personalised items – an ideal gift for family and friends, or to put in pride of place in your home.
No previous embroidery experience is necessary – all levels are welcome.
