Master the art of monogramming in this two hour beginners’ embroidery workshop. Hosted by Marigold the Maker at our Marylebone farmshop, guests will learn how to embroider a set of pure linen napkins.

Starting with the basics of embroidery and stitching, this immersive class will cover how to transfer sketches to fabric before giving you the chance to practice on your own napkins, creating a bespoke touch. You’ll also be given a embroidery kit to take away, allowing you to continue creating personalised items – an ideal gift for family and friends, or to put in pride of place in your home.

No previous embroidery experience is necessary – all levels are welcome.

About Marigold the Maker:

Starting out as a primary school teacher, Marigold taught at inner city schools in London for 15 years before pursuing her dream of working as an artist and maker. Based in Hackney Downs, she now runs her own studio as a full time maker, hosting regular workshops on calligraphy and embroidery for budding makers. She is passionate about crafts as a relief for anxiety, especially in the era of technology and social media, allowing us to get back in touch with using our hands creatively and mindfully.
