Join us for a two hour hand embroidery workshop with Marigold the Maker at our Pimlico farmshop. Ideal for beginners, you’ll be introduced to ten of the most popular embroidery stitches and how to create your own mini modern sampler.

Crafts that require us to use our hands creatively offer a chance to relax and switch off our busy minds. Embroidery can be a soothing activity, meaning you’ll leave the class with a new skill and a calmer mind. Each guest will be given a beginners’ embroidery kit to take home along with their mini modern sampler.

No previous embroidery experience is necessary – all levels are welcome.

About Marigold the Maker:

Starting out as a primary school teacher, Marigold taught at inner city schools in London for 15 years before pursuing her dream of working as an artist and maker. Based in Hackney Downs, she now runs her own studio as a full time maker, hosting regular workshops on calligraphy and embroidery for budding makers. She is passionate about crafts as a relief for anxiety, especially in the era of technology and social media, allowing us to get back in touch with using our hands creatively and mindfully.
