Daylesford Discusses is a series of friendly, open format events where we bring together a panel of experts to highlight and debate a variety of issues around food, health, wellbeing, sustainability, balance and conscious choices.

The next event at our Notting Hill farmshop, will focus on nurturing a healthy, happy relationship with food in childhood that will last a lifetime. We are delighted to be welcoming to our panel:

Marina Fogle, The Parent Hood Podcast & The Bump Classes

Heidi Skudder, The Parent & Baby Coach

Bahee Van de Bor, Specialist Paediatric Dietician

Rhaya Jordan, daylesford resident nutritionist

James Devonshire, Daylesford cookery school tutor

The inspiration for this particular topic is our love for food at Daylesford and the passion we have for inspiring younger generations to care about the food they eat and to develop a positive relationship with food for life.

We expect the discussion to cover topics such as changing nutritional needs through life, how relationships with food are established and can be changed, the importance of the early years in forming good habits and palates, fussy eaters (both children and adults!), childhood allergies, common pitfalls and general areas of concern in modern life: families no longer cooking and eating together, convenience food, portion sizes and how to include enough fruits, vegetables and fibre in a modern diet.

This event is free, but please do register your attendance to help us keep track of numbers. Please mark your diaries for what is sure to be an illuminating and inspiring evening.
