Daylesford Discusses “Our Soil, Our Selves”: Brompton Cross
19th November 2018
We are thrilled to announce a new date for our popular Daylesford Discusses evenings.
Daylesford Discusses is a series of events where we bring together a panel of experts to highlight and debate a variety of issues around food, health, wellbeing, sustainability, balance and conscious choices.
This is set to be a very special evening with key people from Daylesford gathering in our brand new farmshop in Brompton Cross to discuss “Our Soil, Our Selves”: the very essence of the organic movement and our own philosophy.
The purpose of the discussion is to help enhance understanding, empower conscious and informed choices and debunk myths. The panel will explore whether choosing organic can affect nutrition; the complexities of food labelling; what organic means for the future of farming; implications on the environment, wildlife and animal welfare; and what lies in store for the next generation.
The panel will include the following people, each with a different area of expertise yet all as inspiring and knowledgeable as the next:
- Tim Field, Environmental Scientist and Head of Sustainability at Daylesford
- Peter Kindel, Head Cheesemaker at Daylesford
- Richard Smith, Senior Farms Manager at Daylesford
- Jez Taylor, Head Gardener at Daylesford
- Rhaya Jordan, Resident Nutritionist at Daylesford
This event is free, but please do register your attendance to help us keep track of numbers. Please mark your diaries for what is sure to be an illuminating and inspiring evening.
