As we begin a new decade, there is no doubt that in 2020 we live in a digital age. Our next Daylesford Discusses event seeks to examine how we can safeguard and optimise our wellbeing in a world where increasingly more time is spent online and less time is spent resting.

Our panel of experts will share insights into the effect that technology can have on health, sleep, fitness and happiness as well as practical tips on how to embrace the best of the digital world without compromising your quality of life.

We look forward to welcoming the following panel of inspirational people to start a conversation that will extend to include the audience:

  • TANYA GOODIN, an award-winning tech entrepreneur turned digital detox expert and founder of TIME TO LOG OFF
  • Mike Tanner, Senior Performance Specialist and Head of Learning and Development for BODYISM
  • ANNIE CLARKE, a yoga teacher who embraces the positive power of technology
  • ADRIENNE HERBERT, a wellness professional, international speaker, and trainer for a leading fitness app
  • DR GUY LESCHZINER, physician, author and broadcaster
  • RHAYA JORDAN, our resident nutritionist, naturopath and wellness expert

We expect the discussion to cover questions such as: what do we know about the link between technology and happiness? How has our 24/7 culture damaged or enhanced our quality of life? How can we manage our work/ life balance? How and why does sleep play a vital role in health?

About Daylesford Discusses

At Daylesford we make no secret of our love for food: growing, harvesting, preparing and above all sharing it.

Beyond the simple, everyday pleasure of enjoying a good meal, we also love sharing knowledge, ideas and experiences about the issues surrounding the world of food.

Many of the topics relating to farming, health & wellbeing, sustainability and conscious choices are complex and even controversial – and all demand our careful thought and attention.

For several years now we have been running Daylesford Discusses to explore and illuminate a wide range of issues close to our hearts. We bring together a panel of inspiring, knowledgeable experts and passionate people to spend an evening discussing and debating in an engaging, open forum. We encourage questions from the audience and hope that the events help enhance understanding, empower conscious and informed choices and debunk myths.

Daylesford Discusses events are always free and held in our farmshops on weeknights.
