Designing Smaller Gardens with Annie Guilfoyle: Cotswolds
7th June 2022
Join award-winning Garden Designer, international lecturer and RHS Judge Annie Guilfoyle for a one day course at Daylesford to learn how to design small gardens.
With so many plants to choose from and lots of ideas you find appealing, designing a smaller space such as patios, balconies and roof terraces, or down-sizing or simplifying a garden, can seem daunting. Annie will guide you through the process and show you how to make the most of your growing space – you will be surprised what you can do in a small space and still have room to sit and enjoy the garden!
If possible, bring along photos and dimensions of your garden, with as much information as possible about the site and soil so you can sketch out some ideas with Annie’s help.
Annie Guilfoyle is an experienced garden designer with years of experience in garden designing, teaching and judging all over the world.
She was Director of Garden Design at KLC School of Design, based at Hampton Court Palace for 18 years. Currently, Annie is the Garden Course Consultant at West Dean College, in West Sussex and is on the judging panel for the Society of Garden Designers awards.
She teaches regularly and has written for publications including Gardens Illustrated.
