Experimental Drawing and Printing with Julia McKenzie: Cotswolds
21st October 2022
Join us at the farm for an immersive, full day ink drawing and printmaking workshop hosted by artist Julia McKenzie.
You will learn how to use non-traditional tools and natural elements to experiment with form, texture, shape, and pattern, drawing inspiration from the beautiful Cotswold surroundings. Over the course of the day, you will experiment with expressive ink drawings to mono printing techniques.
This course was inspired by the way famous artists such as Van Gogh drew direct inspiration from the natural world around them; Van Gogh used reeds and other tools from nature to create distinctive ink drawings, rhythmic textures, and expressive patterns and to connect his art with his experiences of the natural world.
All materials are included, please wear suitable clothing.
