Learn how to repair and restore furniture in this special hands-on workshop.
Upholsterer Electra Read-Dagg will host this two-hour session, sharing the essential skills needed to master the art of caning by hand using natural rattan. You will work with a 10x10cm oak frame, which can be hung on a wall as a decorative item as well as used as a reference for any future caning endeavours. You will also be given a simple step-by-step handout of the process to take home.
As this is a practical workshop, we recommend wearing casual clothes and footwear. All course materials and tuition are included.
