We do hope you can join us for the Daylesford Harvest Festival, an event we host every September that holds a special place in our hearts.

Our Harvest Festival is a chance to celebrate all the wonderful food we work hard to produce throughout the year at Daylesford. With a bountiful variety of crops at their best in autumn, it is a day to relish this most generous of seasons before colder winter weather sets in.

Scroll down for more details of what to expect this year, and browse some of our favourite snapshots from last year’s festival on our Facebook page.

Jez is also planning some fun challenges in the Market Garden – will you master courgette jenga, building apple towers or making monsters out of ugly, bruised or wonky vegetables?

The festival site will be abuzz with activities for all ages, from traditional apple bobbing to using an old-fashioned press to make delicious apple juice and knotting onion strings.

Children will love riding mini JCB tractors while others can immerse themselves in a world of bushcraft at our WildWise workshops. The whole family will enjoy face painting, Lucas Jet circus entertainers and meeting our high-welfare organic animals.

Of course there will be plenty of live music and a fully stocked bar to get grown-ups into the festival spirit too!

For the budding florists, our skilled floristry tutors will be running a series of workshops throughout the day, covering everything from flower crowns to hand-tied harvest wreaths, flower pressing, jam jar pumpkins and tours of our organic Cutting Garden too.

Being Daylesford, a love for food will of course inspire much of the festival.

Enjoy freshly cooked food from our fire pits, go on a taste journey of sensational ingredients from our organic Market Garden, and stop by the Cookery School for demonstrations on everything from curing & pickling to knife skills.

Don’t forget to bring your own reusable cups and containers to get 50p off!

The Cookery School will also be hosting an outdoor demonstration tent with special guests and fun challenges, while our resident nutritionist Rhaya Jordan will be showing you how to ferment for Harvest in the Market Garden.
