Join us for a two-day workshop at Daylesford to explore the lost art of nature printing.

Hosted by designer and printmaker Pia Östlund, the workshop is an in-depth introduction to the captivating technique of nature printing, which was developed by physicians in the 15th century to aid the study of medicinal and useful plants.

The workshop will be held in the peaceful Chelsea Garden Room and the stunning Workshop space at our COTSWOLD FARM, and will include a walk around our organic Cutting Garden and Market Garden to gather plants, flowers and natural materials to work with.

The first day will begin with an illustrated talk on the history of nature printing, followed by a demonstration and printing session where you will learn how to take impressions using fresh plants and oil-based coloured inks on paper.

The second day gives a chance to further develop the techniques you have learned and make your own nature printed project, such as a series of patterns, a set of cards or a record of your own garden.

Suitable for all levels including complete beginners.

The course price includes all materials, lunch and light refreshments.
