Spring is the season of new beginnings and as the sun warms with each passing day, we feel the promise of new life, fresh starts and renewal.
Inspired by the rhythms of the seasons and the healing powers of nature, The Spring Wellness Retreat at Daylesford is designed to awaken, heal and renew as we welcome the arrival of spring.
Curated with this in mind, our wellness retreat includes a series of healing treatments, energising classes and workshops and an abundance of nourishing organic food, all to be enjoyed in the peaceful serenity of our luxurious Cotswold cottages on our farm with the aim to ease us through the transition into Spring. Our resident nutritionist, yoga teachers and cookery tutors will lead the weekend, imparting their wisdom on working with nature to instil wellness in mind, body and spirit.
DETAILS OF THE SPRING WELLNESS RETREAT
DATE: Friday 18th – Sunday 20th March 2022.
LOCATION: Daylesford near Kingham, Gloucestershire, GL56 0YG.
TIMINGS: Activities begin at 10am on Friday 18th March, the last activity will take place on Sunday evening. Check out is by 10am on Monday 21st March.
PRICE: £1,900 per person, includes a 10% discount in our Kingham Farmshop for the duration of your stay.
Please note, to ensure that we are adhering so social distancing guidelines, we require for guest to book in numbers of two as you will be sharing accommodation.
All accommodation, activities (including treatments & classes), transport to and from The Wild Rabbit, and food is included in the ticket price.
Drinks will be charged in addition.
We require full payment to confirm your booking.
The retreat can accommodate up to 8 guests.

TREATMENTS & CLASSES IN THE BAMFORD WELLNESS SPA
During your time with us, enjoy holistic Bamford treatments including a bespoke facial and massage, intended to relax and restore you with aromatic organic beauty products. The light and airy yoga studios in the Bamford Wellness Spa will be the setting for yoga classes with our resident teacher Cristina Chandika Ma, a mindfulness and meditation expert, who will impart her tips for slowing down and being mindful everyday, developing your own daily practise to continue at home.
Cristina will also hold a cacao ceremony alongside alchemy crystal sound healing. The ceremony will use breathing exercises to focus your awareness on what is no longer serving you, a chance to let go of any worries or thoughts that are holding you back, and will play a key part in preparing you for the busier, more social and activity-filled days of spring.
WELLNESS WORKSHOPS WITH RHAYA JORDAN
Our resident nutritionist and naturopath Rhaya Jordan will lead a wellness workshop, setting intentions for the weekend. Focusing on how we can look to nature to rest and restore us, allowing our bodies and minds to breathe, she will discuss the importance of taking stock, gathering your energies and cleansing and strengthening your mind and body as you prepare to emerge into the new year.
You’ll also learn how the seasons influence the food on our plate as we get to enjoy fresher verdant flavours, full of minerals and nutrients to support our immune systems as we enter the spring months.
THE COOKERY SCHOOL
The Cookery School at Daylesford tells the story of our organic produce from field to fork. Each day our tutors harvest ingredients from our Market Garden to use in their classes, combining them in nourishing dishes full of nutrients and vitamins. Led by our tutors, you will experience our holistic approach to cookery, getting hands-on creating tasty dishes with seasonal ingredients.
The recipes used will be rooted in the seasons and guided by the needs of our bodies during this time of transition, giving you plenty of practical ideas to take home. You can expect fresh, light flavours bursting with flavour, including crunchy spring onions, lettuce, pea shoots and mint in delicious salads, soups and pestos. You’ll learn about pairing flavours with organic meat and fish for a real health boost as the natural world awakens.
Your stay in the Daylesford Cottages
A haven at the heart of our farm, the Daylesford cottages have been beautifully restored to create peaceful spaces for guests to reatreat in. With cosy cashmere blankets, log fires, soft organic linens and botanical bath products, they are the perfect place to take time to reflect and unwind.
The fridges and larders will be stocked with essentials, enjoy restorative countryside walks that begin at your doorstep and our award-winning farmshop is only a few steps away should you feel like venturing out to explore our organic produce, homewares, garden room and workshop.

Trying our organic food is as important as learning about it, so alongside your cookery class experience you’ll dine at our award-winning sister inn, THE WILD RABBIT, and our farmshop café, The Trough, where our organic produce is shown off in seasonal dishes cooked by passionate chefs. Then, when you’re not in workshops or enjoying delicious food, you’ll have spare time to explore our 2,500 acre farm and the wildlife we work so hard to protect.
