Throwing workshop with Studio Pottery London: Cotswolds
16th September 2019
Discover the ancient art of pottery throwing in our immersive workshop with Lucy Attwood from Studio Pottery London. Held in our beautiful Chelsea Garden Room, in the heart of our 28 acre organic Market Garden, the workshop will cover an introduction to pottery throwing along with the chance to get hands on and create your own unique piece on the pottery wheel.
Pottery throwing is known to be deeply therapeutic and is commended as a mindful activity. We’ll take inspiration from the shapes of the natural world in this outside class and Lucy will guide you through the process of using clay to create your masterpiece. Whilst your pot may wobble as you create it, this is part of the throwing process and means your finished product will be a bespoke creation.
The cost of the class includes the delivery of your pot and refreshments throughout the session.
