Celebrating National Sandwich Week!

In celebration of our skilled artisans, we thought that we would bring the artistry of our smokehouse to our Farmshops in the form of National Sandwich Week!
Chris Webb, head of our Smokehouse knows a good sandwich! Chris works tirelessly on our wonderful hams and pates at Daylesford, be they glazed with orange and elderflower, roast with rosemary and thyme, baked traditionally the old Gloucester way, or marinated in stout and aromatics before deep smoking in oak, each of our hams makes for a fantastic sandwich filling!
This National Sandwich week there will be a special focus on sandwiches from our Food To Go counters, while there will also be highlights on our café specials board – our steak sandwich is not one to be missed! Look out for our Smokehouse sharing platters which will be available all week too.

Two great big chunks of sourdough, sliced Black Ham, baby gem lettuce, sliced heritage tomatoes from the Market Garden, a Daylesford blue cheese and Dijon mustard! Simple things done well!
