Join us for this two workshop on how to harness herbs for health and wellbeing. Our resident nutritionist Rhaya, who is also a qualified herbalist, will introduce guests to the power of herbs for our health, exploring the benefits they can have on our bodies. The herbs available to us change throughout the seasons and you’ll be introduced to the best varieties to support your body as we transition into the cooler months. You’ll also harvest medicinal herbs directly from our organic Market Garden, learning about the unusual varieties we grow on our farm.

In this hands-on workshop you’ll practice using your herbs to make infused water, nutritious tonics and shrubs. Originally created as a way to preserve and enjoy ripe fruit, shrubs are a beneficial digestive tonic and provide natural probiotics for our systems. As well as promoting hydration and nutrient intake, they are also a great means for alleviating food waste, preserving produce and extending its lifespan. You’ll leave the class with Rhaya’s deliciously nourishing shrub recipes and tips for making your own at home.
