About the author 

Ben Raskin is the Head of Horticulture and Agroforestry at the Soil Association in the UK and combines this role with implementing a 200-acre agroforestry planting at Helen Browning’s Eastbrook Farm in Wiltshire and writing books for children and grownups. Ben got the gardening bug working on an organic vineyard in northern Italy, and has worked in horticulture for more than 25 years, including setting up the Market Garden at Daylesford. He lives in Wiltshire.
