Our Zero Waste Pantry

Our Zero Waste Pantry

Our Zero Waste Pantry at our Kingham farmshop was created with sustainability in mind, so shopping for your kitchen staples can be lighter on our planet’s precious resources.

Centred around a dry goods dispensary for organic staples such as cereals, nuts, seeds, grains and pulses, customers will be able to use their own containers from home or choose from our range of sustainable, reusable vessels, thus eradicating the need for single-use plastic and unnecessary packaging when shopping for these loose-fill items.

Adjacent to the loose dry stores, we have installed a honey dispensary featuring four organic honeys and an olive oil and vinegar dispensary, allowing customers to fill their own sustainable bottles or jars with these products. Again, this means we will be able to vastly reduce the amount of packaging used for these staples.

Excitingly, our ferments team have developed a kombucha bar where organic kombucha will be available on tap, alongside freshly made juices and a water refill station. We have also installed new fridge areas dedicated to plant-based products and foods to aid gut health such as kefir, kimchi and pickles; and are launching a range of health promoting products such as adaptogenic granolas, gluten free loaves and nutritious snacks.

As well as reducing the need for packaging, the Zero Waste Pantry will help to reduce food waste, allowing customers to buy just the right amount for their needs, avoiding both wastage and spoiling. Part of our wider drive to package lightly across our business, The Zero Waste Pantry takes us one step nearer to achieving our goal of 100% recyclable, reusable or compostable packaging.

Choose from our selection of sustainably made, durable reusable containers including stylish glass storage jars, metal food caddies, clever coffee cups and sandwich boxes.
