Marmalade Making
Join us this January to master the art of marmalade making. Our expert Cookery School tutors will explain everything from juicing, shredding and testing to sealing and storing.
Details | The season for fragrant Seville oranges is short, we love to make the most of this wonderful citrus fruit by transforming them into jars of traditional marmalade. Perfect for glazing hams or spreading on hot buttered toast, every pantry should have a jar of marmalade on the shelf. Guests will then get hands-on creating their very own traditional marmalade cake using quality ingredients before sitting down to relax and enjoy a freshly baked slice along with a glass of bubbles at the end of the course. You will head home with the fruits of your labour – a beautiful jar of homemade marmalade for your pantry, or to share with friends and family. 2-hour course includes practical and demonstration cookery session, a jar of marmalade, refreshments and all course materials. Guests of The Cookery School also enjoy a discount of up to 25% in our Farmshop after their course. Booking: Book online.
