Mastering the Barbecue
Details | Cooking on the barbecue can often be a daunting task, with many people apprehensive about going beyond burgers and sausages. Whether you’re cooking fillet steaks, delicate fish, vegetables or even puddings, we’ll teach you failsafe techniques and skills that you can use at home. As well as advice on choosing the perfect cuts of meat and fish to pop on the grill, we will also cover a number of marinades, salads and accompaniments to make sure you can approach your next barbecue with confidence. On arrival, we will introduce you to your day over freshly made tea and coffee, before you enjoy a series of demonstrations and guided hands-on cookery sessions to create your own dishes on the barbecue. Throughout the day you will have the chance to sit down to try everything you make, accompanied by a glass or two of wine from our sister estate in Provence. Full-day course includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments, course materials and a selection of dishes created throughout the day. Guests of The Cookery School also enjoy a discount of up to 25% in our Farmshop after their course. Booking: Book online.
