Ben Pentreath at Daylesford Farm

In this informal illustrated talk, Ben Pentreath, one of the country’s leading architectural and interior designers, will give a wide-ranging view of his studio’s projects of all scales and sizes – ranging from large-scale urban planning projects including H.M. The King’s Poundbury development, to the design of country houses and interiors. Ben will conclude with his own journey from Dorset to his and his husband Charlie’s new house, on the remote island of Rousay in Orkney.

Ben will discuss the philosophy behind some of his designs and will be happy to take questions after the talk.  He will be signing copies of his books including his recent monograph, An English Vision, and earlier books ‘English Decoration’ and ‘English Houses’, both recently re-issued with new introductions.
