Mud & Guts is an outdoor adventure company for children aged 5 - 11 years. Based in Wiltshire they have been teaching children how to build shelters, light fires and not get lost in the woods for over ten years.
Mud & Guts has grown into a thriving business with a large following of private clients, schools & hotels. And as our following has increased, so has our domain, with Mud & Guts now running activity days in Hampshire, Somerset, Dorset and Gloucestershire.
Our workshops contain a range of activities, including shelter building, firelighting & campfire skills, tracking & basic foraging as well as plenty of games & quizzes all aimed at nurturing body and mind. With our hybrid of bushcraft tutoring, natural world education and good old fashioned games, there is enough to keep minds and bodies engaged and enthralled.
Mud & Guts is about connecting children with the natural world around them. It is about dirty knees and happy grins; triggering the imagination in the greatest playground of all.
Come along to meet Jack Brock the Minature Shetland Pony. Jack usually spends his time in dementia care homes to spread some sweetness and a lot of cheekiness, but he and his owner Ali are taking a day trip to Daylesford to do a book reading and signing for all to enjoy.
