Organic Asparagus bunch
Nothing tastes more like spring than a bunch of organic asparagus. Make the most of this quintessentially English ingredient for the few weeks it is in season.
These certified organic asparagus spears are delicious drizzled with melted butter or olive oil, smothered in hollandaise sauce or dipped in a soft boiled egg. Simply trim away the tough woody ends (or bend until they naturally snap) and blanch in salted, simmering water until tender.
Alternatively, get a griddle smoking hot and char the the slender green asparagus spears for a few minutes – wonderful in this salad with new potatoes and plenty of fresh leafy herbs as a celebration of the spring season.
