English Garden Cocktail With Elderflower & Lemon

This English Garden cocktail is a true favourite. Bright and fresh with the addition of English elderflower cordial and garden mint.



1cm slice cucumber
8-10 mint leaves, plus a sprig to garnish
50ml gin
25ml elderflower cordial
25ml lemon juice
crushed ice
apple slice and edible flower to garnish (optional)

Quarter the slice of cucumber and put the chinks into a tumbler. Muddle with the cocktail muddler or the end of a rolling pin or wooden spoon.

Rub the mint between your fingers then add it to the glass along with the gin, elderflower cordial and lemon juice.

Top up with crushed ice, then stir the bottom with a bar spoon.

Top with more ice before garnishing with the apple, mint and edible flower, if using.
