Join us for a full-day workshop devoted to the art of botanical watercolour painting and to develop your painting skills.
Clare will guide you through the steps to illustrate a variety of seasonal flowers and plants gathered from our organic Market Garden at Daylesford, experimenting loose-style and wet-in-wet watercolour techniques to convey the beautiful textures and colours of your chosen botanic.
Hosted by esteemed botanical and textile artist Clare Robinson the comprehensive, full day workshop is designed to introduce beginners and intermediates to the medium of watercolour, helping you nurture and develop your own style. Clare will demonstrate over the day and there will be plenty of one-on-one guidance to help enhance your observation and expressive painting skills.
The course is suitable for beginners and intermediates. Please bring your own art materials (paints, brushes, pencils and watercolour paper). Sketching paper will be provided. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
