Introducing the Splatter Collection

New addtion to our popular Oddington range:

A new lilac colourway of our Oddington ceramics. Each piece is crafted from earthenware clay in Tuscany, Italy and is hand decorated to add our signature coloured edge to each piece.

The design is inspired by the reputation of Italian tableware and the love of preparing, making and sharing food. The serving bowl and platter have also been decorated with ‘love’ and ‘delicious’ in our founder, Carole Bamford’s hand writing to extend the playful celebration preparing, making and sharing food.

 

Working with artisans in Italy, our solstice serve ware range is expertly crafted using time-honoured techniques that have been used for generations.  ​

​Each piece is first hand dipped in the white glaze to ensure an even background colour and then left to dry. ​

Once dry, each piece is then hand-splattered using a brush to splatter the pink or lilac splatter colour, whilst turning the piece on a wheel to ensure the colour is evenly distributed.​

The very nature of the hand decorating process means that each piece is truly unique, and no two pieces will ever be the same.  ​

The shapes that we have selected are authentic to the region, and lend themselves to fresh salads, homemade dips and sharing dishes.
