Organic Spelt Flakes 500g
Naturally low in gluten yet high in protein, fibre, B vitamins, magnesium and other nutritional benefits, it’s no wonder spelt has a reputation for being a “superfood” – even the Roman army called it their “marching grain”. This nutty, wholesome grain is ideal in breads, baking, homemade granola and porridge while it works particularly well in this delicious rhubarb & Blood orange breakfast crumble too.
see ingredient in bold. May contain nuts, peanuts, soya, milk, sesame, gluten and lupin.
for 2 servings. Stir 100g of flakes into 200ml of water (soak for 10 minutes for a creamier porridge). Bring to the boil, stir, cover with lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed.
Store in a cool dry place.
Once opened store in an airtight container.
