A LOVE OF NATURE

A LOVE OF NATURE

It starts with the soil

Before the seed, before the harvest, there is soil. This is where our farming philosophy takes root. The soil is a vibrant, living ecosystem - essential for the health of our food and the planet. By nurturing our land with gentle, organic practices we help the soil to thrive. Our fields are rich and full of life. In turn, our soils quietly capture carbon, playing their part in caring for the climate, now and for the future.

B CORP CERTIFIED

B CORP CERTIFIED

Daylesford and Bamford proudly became B Corp certified in 2023. Being a B-Corp provides us with a framework to approach our business as a force for good.

WORKING WITH NATURE

Why Organic?
At Daylesford, we farm organically because we believe in nurturing the land, our animals and restoring balance to our food system. Our approach is gentle and considered. We never use synthetic fertilisers or chemical pesticides. We work in harmony with nature.
Our Farming Practices
We raise our animals to high organic welfare standards, choosing to rear the rare and heritage breeds best suited to our farming environment. We feed our animals an organic diet and allow them to roam freely on our clover-rich pastures and agroforestry fields, providing them with all they need to mature slowly, as nature intended. From pigs to cattle, sheep to poultry and deer - we own the whole story of our animal welfare from birth to butchery, overseeing every step. This results in exceptional quality produce, fewer food miles and complete traceability.

Working with Nature
Since 1977 Daylesford has been one of the most pioneering farms in the UK. We farm, make, package and source our products in a way that leaves a light touch on the planet, working with the land to regenerate and replenish it.

CONSCIOUS LIVING

CONSCIOUS LIVING

From timeless homeware to carefully crafted apparel, everything we make, stock and sell celebrates quality, craftsmanship and nature. Made to last, our homeware is crafted from natural materials wherever possible.

Our Tiller Table Linens carry Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification and are made with organic fibres and low-impact, biodegradable dyes, free from harsh chemicals. We also support Nila House in Jaipur, a cultural centre dedicated to preserving India’s natural dye and heirloom textile traditions. Part of the Lady Bamford Foundation, Nila supports sustainable design and Indian heritage crafts.

Our seasonal clothing collections are crafted from high-quality natural fibres — wool, silk, linen and cotton — including knitwear made using the wool from our own Merino sheep herd. Enduring pieces made to be loved for years.
Rituals and Wellness
We are led by nature and a desire to harness its power to nurture our own wellbeing. We create bath and body collections, skincare, grooming and baby products with the belief that what we put on our skin is as important as what we eat. Our Wellness Spas are devoted to nurturing the body, mind and spirit in a gentle, holistic way.
We believe that true wellness lies in life’s quiet, restorative moments — the rituals that help us slow down, reconnect and live in harmony with nature. Our collections and experiences are crafted to support this continuous personal journey.

COFFEE WITH A CAUSE: UPCYCLING AT BAMFORD

Inspired by the desire to repurpose waste coffee grounds from our restaurants, we created the B Vibrant Tonifying Body Polish. An indulgent scrub crafted with 99% natural ingredients and 69% organic ingredients, it is certified COSMOS and includes natural sugar, coconut oil and shea butter to gently exfoliate and deeply nourish the skin. Our coffee is ethically sourced and supports sustainable farming.
