CHÂTEAU LÉOUBE
NESTLED IN A COASTAL BAY IN PROVENCE - THE LÉOUBE ESTATE SITS IN A RARE TERROIR WITH VINEYARDS AND OLIVE GROVES ROOTED IN SOIL DATING BACK 800 MILLION YEARS. THE BAMFORD FAMILY, SET ABOUT RESTORING AND REJUVENATING THE LAND AND ITS VINIVULTURE IN 1997, CREATING A SISTER ESTATE TO DAYLESFORD FARM.

“Having turned our own family farm over to organic principles in the UK, we wanted to bring the same sustainable, natural approach to Léoube, working with the rhythm of the seasons to preserve and protect the land and to produce wines in harmony with nature’s cycles.”

ORGANIC METHODS, INSPIRED BY NATURE
Today, Château Léoube produces award winning artisan wine, olive oil and gin using time-honoured, artisan techniques and biodynamic principles. Nature, the land and the sea inspire every element of how wine and olive oil is made and produced on the estate. The vineyards and olive groves are carefully tended by hand, using sustainable and artisan methods. The grapes are harvested and sorted in tune with the seasons and lunar cycles. Léoube’s unique coastal terroir – where seabeds once covered the estate’s land and saturated the soil with minerals - infuse the wine with a gentle yet distinctive minerality.
The vineyard is both certified organic and HVE (High Environmental Value).
