Our Market Garden Veg Box brings a selection of the freshest seasonal produce straight from our organic Cotswolds farm to your door.

Each box will contain five organic items from our Market Garden. Box contents will vary each week according to what is being harvested, ensuring you always get produce at their best as the seasons and weather conditions change.

Details

The organic vegetables, fruits, and salad leaves are grown, nurtured and hand-picked by our specialist Market Garden team. We only harvest when each ingredient is fully ripe and therefore packed full of delicious flavour and optimum nutrition. Our Head Gardener Jez and his team grow many unusual heritage varieties in our Market Garden, which you may not be able to find elsewhere. We will try as always to use minimal packaging.

Market Garden Veg Boxes are dispatched from the farm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

We use DPD to deliver items to addresses throughout mainland UK.

You may select your preferred delivery day during check-out. Next day deliveries have a cut-off time of 12pm (please note next day delivery is not available on all items).

Gift messages may be added at check-out.

Your order will arrive in a Daylesford branded, 100% recycled cardboard box packed with  FSC-certified shredded spruce from Britain and Sweden, natural sheep’s wool insulation and non-toxic chilled gel packs, all of which can be reused, composted or recycled.

OUR MARKET GARDEN

We work with nature to have seasonal produce available throughout the year. We grow over 300 varieties of organic fruit, vegetables, salad leaves and herbs in our 28 acres of organic Market Garden at Daylesford, including many unusual and heritage varieties.

Whenever we’re cooking, on the farm and in our cafés, we look first to the Market Garden for fresh, inspiring ingredients. You can see much of our fresh produce in our farmshops, in the delicious dishes in our cafés, takeaway sandwiches and salads.

A YEAR IN THE DAYLESFORD MARKET GARDEN

Spring (March, April, May)
Cauliflower, Leeks, Mangetout, Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Radish, Rhubarb, Rocket, Salad Leaves, Spinach, Spring Onion, Wild Garlic.

Summer (June, July, August)
Basil, Beetroot, Broad Beans, Carrots, Chillies, Coriander, Courgettes, Cucumbers, French Beans, Gooseberries, Heritage Tomatoes, Lettuce, Mint, New Potatoes, Parsley, Peas, Raspberries, Runner Beans, Spring Onions, Strawberries.

Harvest (September, October, November)
