Coronation Weekend at Daylesford
Daylesford is the perfect place to soak up the celebratory atmosphere of coronation. Discover our events, activities and attractions for all ages ahead of the big day and across the long weekend.
Saturday 6th May 2023
A brass band will bring jubilant spirit to the entrance of our Cotswolds farmshop, just steps away from live topiary demonstrations in our Garden Courtyard.
Meanwhile the Léoube pop-up bar will be serving refreshing drinks in the Fountain Courtyard. Dogs are welcome to join in the fun with a procession in the Fountain Courtyard (feel free to don coronation regalia!). Bring your pup to the Bamford Courtyard for some “pooch pampering”.
Don’t miss out on coronation food & drink on the deli counter in the farmshop, The Orchard Bar, The Trough and Legbar – which will also be home to a live DJ and special cocktails.
Children can sign up to make special wildflower crowns using foraged materials from our farm in our workshop space. We will have face painting and flower crowns made by our florists in our Garden Shop Courtyard.
Head to the Bamford Barn where an embroiderer will be personalising Bamford clothing with initials and crowns, 12-4pm.
Energetic types can take part in the “Fit For A King” on the Padel Courts, drop in from 12-4pm.
In London, our Marylebone and Notting Hill stores will be doing children’s face painting and selling floral crowns from our farm. The Bamford store on South Audley Street will be serving tea and biscuits.
Our Pubs
The Wild Rabbit will be taking part in the Kingham street party and screening the coronation. Don’t miss out on special food & drink, including elderflower martinis and other tipples served from the horse box, plus delicious coronation chicken burgers.
The Fox will be serving coronation pizzas and cocktails and screening the events live from London.
The Maytime will be serving complimentary Pimm’s as part of their coronation garden party. Enjoy pizza served from their horse box while you keep an eye on the screening of the coronation.
Sunday 7th May 2023
The festivities will still be going strong with the Léoube pop-up bar in the Fountain Courtyard and special coronation menu items at The Orchard Bar, The Trough and Legbar and our deli counter.
Our florists will make more fresh flower crowns.
Energetic types can take part in the “Fit For A King” on the Padel Courts, drop in from 12-4pm.
Take dogs along to the Bamford Barn for pet portraits, 11am-2pm.
Our celebrations will culminate with The Coronation Big Lunch, an open-air feast in our 28-acre market garden. Our chefs will prepare picnic and party food, with rows of fruit trees, spring flowers and the rolling Cotswolds hills as your backdrop.
In London, our Pimlico and Notting Hill stores will be serving Coronation Afternoon Tea, while the Bamford store on South Audley Street will be hand-embroidering Bamford clothing with initials and crowns and serving tea and biscuits, 11am-2pm.

Monday 8th May 2023
The final day of coronation food & drink specials in The Orchard Bar, The Trough and Legbar and deli counters at the farm.
Flower crowns made by our florists will be available in our farmshops.
In London, our Pimlico and Brompton Cross stores will be doing children’s face painting.
As part of The Big Help Out up and down the country, we will be inviting customers to donate items for collection by our charity partner The Felix Project for our London farmshops and the Oxford Food Hub for our Cotswolds Farmshop. In return, each customers who makes a donation will receive a complimentary hot drink to take away or be enjoyed at a later date. Don’t forget to bring your reusable cup!
