TELL US ABOUT YOUR DAYLESFORD JOURNEY SO FAR.

“I began my Daylesford journey in 2015 when I decided that I wanted to work for a company I was truly passionate about. Having worked in food in London and having run a pub with my uncle, it was time to align my passion with a company whose values matched my own. I started my career on the Daylesford deli counter as a Team Member, which is where my love for Daylesford produce really escalated. I did some additional work with the Food Buying Tteam to enhance my knowledge before becoming Assistant Retail Manager. Then in 2017, an opportunity arose and I become Direct Sales Manager where I have been ever since.”

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST LEARNING AT DAYLESFORD?

“It doesn’t matter how hard you have to work, if you love the company you work for and the people you work with, you’re onto a good thing.”

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE DAYLESFORD PRODUCT OR FOOD?

“It has to be the plain Daylesford kefir – I am fascinated with the benefits of ferments and cultured food, having tried many ferments over the years. Daylesford’s is just the best.”

TELL US ABOUT YOUR DAYLESFORD JOURNEY SO FAR.

“I had the privilege of spending 3 months living and working on our Cotswolds farm before starting as General Manager of the Pimlico Road farmshop. I have been lucky enough to venture behind the scenes at all of our production units and have even helped make some of our products. My passion for sustainability led me to taking up a lead role on Daylesford’s Sustainability Committee and through work I have also become an active volunteer with our charity partners The Felix Project. My promotion to Operations Manager after just 2 years shows how much opportunity there is to grow with the company.”

WHAT’S ONE THING THAT MIGHT TAKE OUR CUSTOMERS BY SURPRISE?

“We are a family-run business in every sense – the Bamfords are involved in every decision and visit all of the shops regularly. Having come from the corporate world this was something that surprised me the first time Lady Bamford walked through the door!”
