| Details | Phacelia is also known as "green manure", which are plants that improve the soil by being deep rooted, by covering the soil to prevent leaching of nutrients, by fixing nitrogen and by breaking up the soil with fibrous root structures. Use to cover bare ground, particularly over winter. How to grow: 1. Sow directly into growing site in a weed free spot. 2. Thin out to 20cm apart to help support taller plants. 3. Plants grow up to 90cm in height. |
