Iced Tea with Grapefruit

30 min | Easy

This iced tea recipe from Kirthanaa Naidu is so good we recommend having a jugful at hand to enjoy throughout the day. Kirthanaa has added our Daylesford Oxfordshire honey to make this iced tea not only delicious but free from refined sugars. It's simple to make, perfect for a hot day and easy to make in advance when hosting friends or family.

4 x Daylesford House Blend Tea Bags
4 -5 tbsp honey
2 grapefruits
1 lemon
mint
ice

The Daylesford house blend tea is a combination of Darjeeling and Assam leaves which is a delicious base for an iced tea. This recipe pairs two types of citruses - lemon and grapefruit - adding layers with the tartness of the lemon and the semi-sweet bitter notes from the grapefruit. Combined with the Oxfordshire honey, with its delicate and floral notes, gives you a tea that is incredibly refreshing and will leave you wanting more.

Steep the tea bags in 1 litre of hot water for 2 minutes and add the honey while it's hot.

Allow the tea to cool down to room temperature.

Juice the grapefruit and lemon then sieve it.

Pour the juice into the cooled tea and add some grapefruit, lemon slices and mint.

Fill the jug with ice, give it a good stir and enjoy!
