Organic Bordeaux Wine
Daylesford Bordeaux
Daylesford Bordeaux vineyards enjoy cool winters, a wet spring, warm summers and sun-filled autumns. The slow erosion of the Pyrenees by the River Garonne results in deep, well drained gravel, which is perfect for viticulture.
The approach to viticulture at Daylesford Bordeaux vineyards is sustainable in every respect, embracing geolocated fertilisation, controlled weeding between the plots, prolonged resting of the soils by flowering fallow lands, and the use of environmentally friendly products.
In 2018, the vineyards obtained the High Environmental Value certification (level 3) for their ecological commitment covering areas including biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategy, management of fertiliser use and management of water.
Daylesford Bordeaux pays homage to the exceptional and varied terroir of Bordeaux with a wine based around the classic Merlot grape.

WORKING WITH NATURE
Nature is at the heart of everything we do at Daylesford. We farm, eat and live in a way that nurtures and nourishes her.
The only way to sustain our planet for the future is to protect and nurture its resources. Organic farms are regenerative and sustainable, working in harmony with nature to replenish and strengthen the land, providing healthy, nutritious food and drawing carbon down into the ground, removing it from the atmosphere. Organic is better for the planet.
