Our Budding Chefs classes provide the perfect introduction to cookery for children aged between 5 and 8 years old. These courses will inspire little ones to think about where their food comes from as we explain the story of our organic farm and Market Garden, getting them hands-on creating their own dishes with delicious, seasonal ingredients.

Beginning with an introduction to Daylesford and a guided tour of our 28-acre Market Garden, children will learn all about the importance of cooking with fresh, seasonal produce. Designed to spark their imagination and introduce them to all sorts of flavours and ingredients, this course gives children the chance to see how much fun cooking can be and set them on course for a lifetime of good ingredients and homemade meals.

During their time with us, everyone will cook their own nutritious and delicious dishes, sitting down together to enjoy each dish they make, accompanied by organic Daylesford juices. Leaving with a recipe pack and plenty of ideas – they’re sure to want to cook for you at home!

3-hour course includes practical and demonstration cookery sessions, lunch, refreshments and all course materials. Guests of The Cookery School also enjoy a discount of up to 25% in our Farmshop after their course. 

Parents / guardians are not required to stay for the duration of the course, we just ask that children are dropped off at the Cookery School at 9.00am and collected at 12.00pm.
