September events highlights
The weather is up and down but that’s not stopping us from holding some exciting events this September. We’ve got a host of creative courses alongside our Cookery School and nutrition workshops so you’ll never be stuck for something to do.
As autumn draws closer we’re turning our attention inwards, reflecting on the summer months and encouraging a calm, mindful entry into autumn. With that in mind, our annual Harvest Festival takes place on Saturday 21st September to celebrate all things harvest and we’ve got plenty of workshops throughout the month on seasonal cooking, maintaining health as the seasons change or working with seasonal blooms in the Cotswolds and our London farmshops.

Our top pick: Annual Harvest Festival: Cotswolds
Join us for this special day to celebrate all of the wonderful produce we work hard to produce throughout the year. We’ll have activities for all ages, including vegetable monster making, cookery demos, competitions and a chance to meet the people that work so hard to keep Daylesford going.
Decluttering for health and wellbeing: Cotswolds
Organise and refresh your home ready for autumn in this two hour workshop with professional declutterer Victoria Staff. You’ll leave with tips and tricks to create a calm, relaxing and positive home environment.
Wellness workshop: autumn immunity, tonics, cordials and spiced broths: Cotswolds
Prepare yourself for the ‘cold and flu’ season with our nutritional expert Rhaya Jordan who will guide you through how to support your system as the seasons change, sharing recipes and methods for creating your own immunity-boosting tonics.
Throwing workshop with Studio Pottery London: Cotswolds
Ideal for beginners, this immersive two hour workshop with Studio Pottery London is the perfect introduction to pottery throwing, allowing guests to get hands-on and create their own unique piece of pottery on the wheel with guidance from experts.
Wild and foraged cookery course: Cotswolds
As a chance to eat the most delicious, seasonal ingredients, foraging is a sustainable way to use nature’s ingredients at their best. After a guided foraging walk, you’ll learn how to create delicious dishes whilst enjoying tasters. For autumn, recipes will include rabbit risotto, nettle tart and venison carpaccio.
Wellness workshop: gut health and fermenting: Notting Hill
Ferments using seasonal produce are key for aiding rest, rejuvenation and gut health as we transition between seasons. In this two hour workshop our nutritional expert Rhaya will give an introduction to ferments before showing guests how to create their own to take home.
Seasonal wreath making: Cotswolds
Celebrate autumnal blooms and make your own stunning signature wreath using seasonal plants, flowers and foliage that you’ll forage from our organic Market Garden and Cutting Garden, all with the guidance of our passionate floristry tutors.
The complete seasonal larder: Cotswolds
A well stocked larder is key for producing easy dishes in any kitchen. Our expert Cookery School tutors will show guests how to make the most of the abundance of autumn produce, sharing tips for a variety of preservation and fermentation methods to ensure no vegetable gluts are left behind.

We’re thrilled to be holding our very first Daylesford Wellness Retreat from 4-6th October in the tranquil setting of our Cotswolds farm. Designed to encourage you to press pause, reflecting on the summer season that has just passed, taking a mindful look inwards and restoring your wellbeing, this special three day experience in collaboration with Bamford Haybarn Spa will leave you feeling rested and rejuvenated for the season ahead and ready to slow down after the busyness of summer. Enjoy a series of healing, wellness and cookery workshops throughout the weekend.
